For each a prophet there is evidences, Evidences that left his prophet as shining as rays of the sun, These are prophecies and physical signs, But our great Prophet Muhammad is endowed with more, He was not only supported by prophecies and miracles , But he was given unique ones, prime among these are Scientific verses that science is completely in agreement with, So glorious, convincing, free of errors is the last words of God. 

Prophet Muhammad passes the Bible test 

The Old Testament stipulates that a true prophet must give prophecies that come true, it says:

"And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him." (Deuteronomy 18:21-22)

Muhammad, according to this prophecy, is a prophet

Prophet Muhammad’s hadiths are filled with prophecies that materialized in his time, shortly after his death and even today.( The Gulf War, the Economic blockade on Iraq that preceded the Gulf war, the moral decadence and AIDS, opening Egypt…etc)

The Holy Quran also gives prophecies that came true at the time of the prophet and there are some that we see them coming true in our age such as modern communication, the age of submarines and the conquer of the space.

An example of the prophecies that transpired at the time of the prophet and was the reason behind the reversion of many peoples into Islam is the triumph of the Romans over the Persians.

The Holy Quran says:

The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will be victorious within three to nine years. The affair is Allah's from beginning to end. On that day, the believers will rejoice. (Qur'an, 30:1-4)

Please note that the words” few years”, in Arabic " Bda Sneen",  that are found in most translations means in Arabic a period ranging from three to nine years.

Also the words "in the lowest place", in Arabic "Adna Al-Ard", according to Arabic dictionaries and Quran lexicon means" the lowest place."
 

So the Holy Quran tells us:

1. That the Roman [Byzantine] Christians, although they have been vanquished at this time, will predominate over Iran after nine years.
2. that the Muslims shall also rejoice on the day of the Romans' victory over Iran; for they, too, shall gain victory over shirk (associating partners with Allah), although the idolaters, at that time, prided exultantly over their huge numbers."
    

The Defeat of the Romans

1. A severe war broke out between the Romans and the Persians in (615), the same year the holy verse was revealed. It was a crushing war in which a lot of soldiers were killed.
2. The Romans were losing more and more ground every next day. By 619 A. D. the whole of Egypt had passed into Sassanid hands and the Magian  armies had reached as far as Tripoli. In Asia Minor they beat and pushed back the Romans to Bosporus, and in 617 A. D. they captured Chalcedon (modern, Kadikoy) just opposite Constantinople.
3. The Emperor sent an envoy to Khusrau, praying that he was ready to have peace on any terms, but he replied, "I shall not give protection to the emperor until he is brought in chains before me and gives up obedience to his crucified god and adopts submission to the fire god." At last, the Emperor became so depressed by defeat that he decided to leave Constantinople and shift to Carthage (modern, Tunis).
4. The loss of Jerusalem in 614 was particularly traumatic for the Byzantines, for the Church of the Holy Sepulcher was destroyed and the Persians seized the "True Cross"; the symbol of Christianity.
5. Any one couldn’t dare to say that the Romans would be victorious if they launched a counter attack. The State of the Muslims at Mecca
6. At this time, Muslims were being torture and persecuted; some were killed and others were made to leave their hometown to Ethiopia.
7. They were few in number but with steadfast  so strong as the mountains around them. In the same year Many Muslim were enforced to leave their home and migrate to Ethiopia. No one could dare to say that Muslims would be triumphant within this very short period of time. 

The Holy Quran determines the lowest place on the face of the earth

The war to which the holy verses refer to actually took place in the Dead Sea basin, the war took place in a spot which is situated at the intersection point of the lands belonging to Syria, Palestine, and Jordan. At 399 meters below sea level, the Dead Sea is the "lowest" place on Earth's surface.

Since at that time the geography of the planet earth wasn’t known, they choose to explain the Arabic word”Adna” as” a nearby land” which is correct but according to Arabic dictionaries the word” Adna” also means the lowest place which is most accurate meaning. 

 Also when the Arabic definite article” El/Al” added to the word “Ard”, it will means” Planet earth”

So according to Arabic dictionaries and Arabic Grammar the word “Adna” should be explained as the lowest place in the earth.

".....When we investigated the lowest part of the earth, we found that it was exactly the same spot that witnessed the battle in which the Romans were defeated. When we informed Professor Palmer about this, he contested saying that there were many other areas, which are lower than the one referred to in the Qur'anic verse. He gave examples and names of other areas in Europe and in the United States. We assured him that our information was verified and correct. He had with him a topographical globe that showed elevations and depressions. 

He said that it would be easy with that globe to ascertain which was the lowest spot on earth. He turned the globe with his hands and focused his sign on the area near Jerusalem.To his astonishment, there was a small arrow sticking out towards that area with words: "the lowest part on the face of the earth." 

Professor Palmer was quick to concede that our information was correct. He proceeded to speak, as you now see him with the globe, saying that this was actually the lowest part of the earth....."

The Kinneret and Golan:

Lake Kinneret is so-called because it is shaped like a harp, the name Kinneret originates from the word ‘kinnor’ which means harp. The lake is also known on modern maps as Lake Galilee or Lake Tiberius. The name Galilee derives from where it is located.

The Kinneret supplies more than 30% of Israel's fresh water. It is the lowest fresh water lake in the world! It is a beautiful lake and Israel’s largest reservoir. In the hot summer you can see thousands of people enjoying themselves on the Kinneret. During the winter time, people like to try the hot springs in the town of Tiberias.

Lake Kinneret is Israel's largest fresh water lake, approximately 53 kilometers (33 miles) in circumference, about 21km (13 miles) long and 13km (8 miles) wide. At 213 meters below sea level, it is the lowest fresh water lake on Earth and the second lowest point in the world after the Dead Sea. It is not a sea by normal definition; it is called a sea due to tradition. Lake Kinneret provides approximately 50% of the drinking water and 25% of all water for , so the water quality, and hence, the water circulation, is of the utmost importance.


The lowest point on earth is located on the SHORE of the Dead Sea, on the Israel-Jordan border. The altitude of this point ranges from 394 meters (1,292 ft.) to 400 meters (1,312 ft.) below sea level. Time is the reason this value has changed. With the low replenishment rate, extreme heat, and high evaporation, the level of the Dead Sea is lowering at a rate of approximately 1 meter every 10 years.

So long before science could detect the lowest place on the face of the earth, the Holy Quran mentioned it.

How could Muhammad knew this important fact though he didn't have satellites like our most sophisticated ones unless he was truly a prophet from God.

The Fulfillment of the first Prophecy (The triumph of the Romans)

1. Heraclius, Byzantine Emperor, started his counter attack in 623 A. D. from Armenia. Next year, in 624 A. D., he entered Azerbaijan and destroyed Clorumia, the birthplace of Zoroaster, and ravaged the principal fire temple of Iran, this was the turning point of the long conflict between the Romans and the Persians.
2. In short, as the British historian Gibbon says, even seven to eight years after this prediction of the Quran, the conditions were such that no one could even imagine that the Byzantine Empire would ever gain an upper hand over Iran. Not to speak of gaining domination, no one could hope that the Empire, under the circumstances, would even survive.
    

The Second Part of the Prophecy

Great are the powers of Allah, this was the very year when the Muslims achieved a decisive victory at Badr for the first time against the idolaters.

Thus both the predictions made in Surah Rum were fulfilled simultaneously within the stipulated period of nine years."

Unbelievable prophecies…Right?

•      How can we explain the confident and categorical prediction of the victory of a defeated people over a victorious people, in the absence of any factors pointing to the likelihood of such an event? A realistic approach to the state of society and the course of events would definitely have contradicted this prophesy. The Prophet of Islam foretold a definite military victory at a certain point in the future. How did he know it was going to occur?
 

Historical evidence to this event

On the basis of this prediction, Abu Bakr  made a bet with some of the idolaters (betting was not prohibited at that time) that if the Romans did not get victory within nine years, he would give them a hundred camels, otherwise they would give him a certain number of camels.  In the beginning Hadhrat Abu Bakr   appointed ‘bidh’a sineen’ (a few more years) as three years from his own opinion.  Bur afterwards, at the bidding of the Prophet  , the covenant was made on the term of nine years, which is the real application of the word ‘bidha’

note: Israel was built on occupied Palestine land
