Science and Quran on the Creation of the Universe
Science in its long search for the origin of the universe stumbled on evidence that the universe was once one piece, scientifically known as singularity point or primary nebula, then this was unstitched or as science say exploded. This theory of the origin of the universe known as the " Big Bang”. The "Big Bang" is the term given to what is currently the most widely accepted scientific model for the origin and evolution of the Universe. The creation of the universe is explained by astrophysicists in a widely accepted phenomenon, popularly known as the ‘Big Bang’. It is supported by observational and experimental data gathered by astronomers and astrophysicists for decades. According to the ‘Big Bang’, the whole universe was initially one big mass (Primary Nebula). Then there was a ‘Big Bang’ (Secondary Separation) which resulted in the formation of Galaxies. These then divided to form stars, planets, the sun, the moon, etc. The origin of the universe was unique and the probability of it occurring by ‘chance’ is zero. The universe is expandingAs we have explained the universe began with a big explosion (matter and energy). The galaxies condensed out of this matter and continued to move away from the point of the explosion, thus the Universe has been expanding since the beginning of time. If you imagine yourself standing in any one of these galaxies and watch the motion of the other galaxies relative to you, you will notice that all the other galaxies appear to be moving away from you. This is the cosmological redshift and is due to the expansion of the Universe. The end of the universe (The Big Crunch) Scientists assure that the universe will have an end as it had a beginning. The universe will never be expanding. Scientists say that the universe is filled with whatever called the dark matters. Although it cannot be seen, there is solid evidence that more than 90% of the total mass in the universe is composed of Dark Matter. It is there! It is there! It is simply not visible. (Lorna Simmons, Printed in Reflections). The Dark matter is non-luminous matter, that cannot be directly detected by observing any form of electromagnetic radiation (light), but whose existence is suggested because of the effects of its gravity on the rotation rate of galaxies and the presence of clusters of galaxies. The more the universe expands, the slower its velocity is. The galaxies will slow down because of the gravity of the dark matter, in the course of time the velocity of the universe components will be nil, the gravity of dark matter will prevail, so the universe will crunch under this gravity, all the cosmos entities will recede back or reverse to where it first stems from. This is what science say about the creation of the universe and now let's see what the Holy Quran, God's word says about the origin of the universe. In fact, the Holy Quran talks about what is scientifically established in a way that feels you with ecstasy and piety and completely fills you with submission to God:
The Ratic and fatc in the Holy Quran big bang in science. God says in the Holy Quran what means
God says in the holy Quran what means
A prophecy: The verse says clearly that the facts about the creation of the universe will be discovered by the unbelievers, these facts were actually discovered by non-Moslems. Also, the Holy verse call those who believe that the universe is eternal to rethink again according to the newly –discovered facts about the creation of the universe. The holy Quran uses just two words to sum up all what have been written to describe the Big Bang; the Arabic word” ratq" translated as "sewn to" means "mixed in each or blended”. It is used to refer to the state of the universe before being exploded. The quranic word ( Ratek ) is much more accurate than the word ( mass) ,This word implies order and system in the Arabic vernacular. The phrase "we unstitched" is the verb "fataqa" in Arabic and implies that something comes into being by tearing apart or destroying the structure of things that are sewn to one another. They are separated (fataqa) with one coming out of the other. Intriguingly, when we think about the first moments of the Big Bang, we see that the entire matter of the universe is collected at one single point. In other words, everything-including "the heavens and earth" which were not created yet-were in an interwoven and inseparable condition. Then, this point exploded violently, causing its matter to disunite. The Quranic word (fatak ) could be translated "unstitched " , it refers to the big bang , the Quranic word is much more accurate than the word explosion ; explosion implies chaos, blind act and absence of order . The phrase (and then we unstitched or clove them a sunder) is completely in congruency with the facts of the Big bang, it means that the interwoven things is exploded or unstitched as the holy Quran says. The next stage (gaseous cloud)FROM A GASEOUS MASS TO THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTHScience says that after the big bang, the universe was still in a gaseous state, then the creation of the heaven and the earth began from this gaseous mass. Prior to science the Holy Quran mention this fact in one of its wonderful verses; the Quran says that God created the heaven and the earth from the gaseous mass. God says in the Holy Quran what means "
How does that, if compared with modern scientific explanations? The French Scientist Dr. Maurice Bucaille in his book called The Bible, the Qur'an and Science explains: "At the earliest time it can provide us with, modern science has every reason to maintain that the universe was formed from a gaseous mass principally composed of hydrogen and a certain amount of helium that was slowly rotating" (p.147). (Big Bang Theory)
The Holy Quran on the expansion of the universe Until the 20th century the prevailing belief was that the universe has a constant nature. However, modern research, observations, and calculations carried out by means of modern technology have revealed that the universe in fact had a beginning and that it constantly "expands." The fact of the big bang refers and even assures this fact. The expansion of the universe, a corollary of the Big Bang , is mentioned in the Holy Quran as evidence to Allah's infinite might . God says in the Holy Quran what means
The holy verse uses the Arabic present participle” moosiaaoona "; this word means " steadily expanding “. so the word indicates that the universe is not static but assures that the universe is constantly expanding and it will keep expanding till the Day of Judgment. The consensus of the scientists and the astrophysics reports converge on this fact. The Arabic prefix (La) in the Arabic word (La + moosiaaoona ) according to Arabic grammar is used to lay emphasis on the word following it , it adds an atmosphere of importance or great extent and emphasis ; the verse is clear now , it means that Allah has created the universe with His Might and that He is expanding the universe to great extent . This Holy Quran is in conformity with the newly –discovered facts about the universe expansion. Quran on the end of the universe (Big crunch) The holy verse describes the end of the universe as does the modern science, scientists say that the there are no what can be straight lines in the universe, all the cosmos entities runs in a curve orbits, so the end of the universe will be through folding and rolling up of the universe as a scroll folds the letters, words and sentences written inside it as it is rolled up. A miraculous hint The holy Quran explains the way in which the universe will end. The most widely accepted theory predicts that the density of the Universe is very close to the critical density, the critical mass of the black holes and the dark matter, if added, the critical mass of the universe will be the same or even more than the critical mass. Astrophysics says that the shape of the Universe should be flat, like a sheet of paper." Prior to the discovery of this fact, the holy Quran, God's word, likens the universe to the face of a piece of paper.
